FIAF International Index to Film Periodicals Plus
The Library is pleased to announce the introduction of a new database, the FIAF International Index to Film Periodicals Plus. This resource comprises four individual databases, with the one of most use to students being the Index to Film Periodicals Plus. This database contains over 400,000 article citations from over 330 journals from both academic and popular titles and covering both film and television topics. Topics also include some coverage of literature and film/TV and literary adaptations.
Some of the content is in an abstract only format, in which case inter-library loan requests may still be needed, however the full-text availability within the database should prove effective for most student searches.
FIAF International Index to Film Periodicals Plus
The other three databases included in this resource are the Treasures from Film Archives, Documentation Collections and FIAF Members’ Publications. These are mainly non full-text information resources containing specialist information on collection holdings.
